UFO Parfums Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how The Mothership, LLC, doing business as UFO Parfums ("UFO Parfums," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit ufoparfums.com (the "Site"), buy from us, or join our email list.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Orders: name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number.

  • Payment: card and payment details are entered directly with our payment processor, PayPal. We do not see or store your full card number.

  • Email list: your email address when you sign up.

  • Messages: anything you send us by email or through the Site.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the Site, we and our service providers collect device and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring site, approximate location (city or region), and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies and tracking" below).

Information from others

We may receive order and delivery updates from shipping carriers, and fraud-screening signals from our payment processor.

  • To process, ship, and support your orders, including returns and exchanges.

  • To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and replies to your messages.

  • To send marketing emails, if you signed up (you can unsubscribe anytime).

Cookies and tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. Squarespace sets some of these automatically. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site, like checkout, may not work without them.

Third-party tracking: We do not use advertising pixels or third-party analytics, and we do not allow third parties to collect information about your activity across other websites over time.

Do Not Track: Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. The Site does not currently respond to these signals.

Email marketing

If you join our email list, we'll send news, launches, and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out anytime. Even after you unsubscribe, we may still send emails about orders you place.

Data retention and security

We keep order records as long as needed to fulfill orders and meet tax and accounting requirements. We keep email list information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

We use reasonable safeguards, and our providers use industry-standard security, including encrypted checkout. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • Show you the personal information we hold about you

  • Correct information that's wrong

  • Delete your information, unless we must keep it (for example, for tax records)

  • Remove you from our email list

California residents: California law lets you request certain information about how we share personal information for direct marketing. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll also notify our email list.
